Memo To Kremlin: Know Your Audience. Trump-Vance Administration Negotiators Both Jewish. Team Putin Wise To Cease Using “Nazi” And “Neo-Nazi” As Conveys Witkoff And Kushner Are Chamberlain Twins

Memo To Kremlin: Know Your Audience

With Trump-Vance Administration Negotiators Both Jewish, Team Putin Wise To Cease Using “Nazi” And “Neo-Nazi

Educators, Journalists, Officials, Politicians, And Presenters In The Russian Federation Should Cease Using “Nazi” And “Neo-Nazi” To Describe What They Do Not Like About Governance In Ukraine

Using “Nazi” And “Neo-Nazi” Loses Most Of The Audience Needed By The Government Of The Russian Federation.  First, Listeners Turn Off The Sound.  Second, Viewers Turn Off The Picture.  Third, Wireless Devices Go Into Sleep Mode.

Within The Russian Federation, There Does Seem Lessening In The Use Of The Terms Among Academics, Commentators, Journalists, And Youth.

Steven Witkoff, Assistant to the President, Senior Advisor, and Special Envoy (2025- ) of the Trump-Vance Administration, and Jared Kushner, a son-in-law of Donald Trump, President of the United States (2017-2021 and 2025-2029), are both Jewish.

There are members of the Trump-Vance Administration (2025-2029) Cabinet who are Jewish and senior members of The White House staff who are Jewish.

It is the religious connectivity of Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner that should concern, to put it mildly, the government of the Russian Federation and those supporting the government of the Russian Federation.

The words “Nazi” and “neo-Nazi” for Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner, along with most people on earth, reflexively convey imagery of World War II (1939-1945) and that connects with imagery of Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) and that connects with imagery of the Gestapo (1933-1945) and that connects with imagery of Death Camps (1933-1945) and that connects with imagery of the Final Solution (1942-1945) culminating with connecting to the accepted six million dead due to the Holocaust (1941-1945).  The government of the U.S.S.R. (1922-1991) was briefly a transactional partner with the Third Reich (1933-1945) through the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact (1939-1941).

  • Oxford Dictionary: “Nazi is a member or supporter of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), which ruled Germany from 1933-1945 under Hitler, advocating extreme nationalism, racism (especially anti-Semitism), and totalitarian control.”

  • Collins Dictionary: “Neo-Nazis are people who admire Adolf Hitler and the beliefs of the right-wing party which he led in Germany from 1933 to 1945.”

  • AI Generated: “Fascist is a follower or supporter of fascism, a far-right, authoritarian political ideology emphasizing extreme nationalism, state power, suppression of opposition, and a cult of leadership, often using militarism, economic control, and aggressive expansionism for national rebirth, though the term is broadly used as a derogatory label for authoritarian nationalism today.”

Today, a consensus is a “Nazi” inspired government and “Fascist” inspired government reflect an unnatural desire for real estate that does not belong to them, an unhealthy focus upon breeding, a disturbing focus upon perfecting tools of death, a disregard for death and suffering of civilians, and a targeting of civilian infrastructure as a means of influencing a population.  There are governments who view decisions implemented by the armed forces of the Russian Federation at the direction of the government of the Russian Federation since 2008 (Georgia- Abkhazia and Ossetia) and since 2014 (Ukraine) as reflecting some, not all, of those mid-twentieth century ideological characteristics.

Shocking to no one if Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner view the letter “Z” adopted by the government of the Russian Federation to symbolize its intentions for Ukraine as a twenty-first century version of the Swastika, and not as it relates to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Native Americans.

As Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner internally process in real-time what they have heard from lips across the large white oval table in the Kremlin, an inescapable conclusion for them is the government of the Russian Federation is, when stripping out any niceties, viewing Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner as negotiators, representatives, and sympathizers on behalf of “Nazis” and “neo-Nazis” so in some measure they are United Kingdom diplomat Neville Chamberlain (1939 Munich Agreement) twins.

The rolling of their eyes may not be apparent, but they are.  A silent, “really, seriously” moment.

There are officials within the government of the Russian Federation and supporters of Team Putin who believe the stereotype of successful Jewish, New York City origin, real estate men focusing laser-like on making money for family, friends, and themselves despite who is compromised.  That perception of stereotype would not be groundless.

Those in Moscow will have viewed the process by which Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner crafted and presented the State of Israel-Gaza co-existence agreement (referring to the document as a peace agreement is inaccurate) which has a substantive financial component.  How that co-existence agreement was crafted and presented bears similarities with the initially twenty-eight-point co-existence agreement (referring to the document as a peace agreement is inaccurate) focusing upon the Russian Federation-Ukraine War, but more so… “all about the Benjamins” a phrase meaning all about the money.  Some of the points were appalling in their abject absence of balance, equity, and fairness.  Sadly, some of the points did reinforce the New York City stereotype.

When Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation (2000-2008 and 2012- ), and members of Team Putin speak of “de-Nazifying” Ukraine, once Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner hear that phrase, they think about first-half 20th century Germany, not first-quarter 21st century Ukraine.

They also are immediately reminded that Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine (2019-2024; term extended due to imposition of martial law in 2022), is Jewish.  Many officials and politicians within the government of Ukraine are Jewish.

The result is a listening fog.

Whatever President Putin and Team Putin share going forward remains within the framing for Messrs. Witkoff and Kushner that Ukraine is not led by “Nazis” and “neo-Nazis” and to suggest so is a ridiculous comparison and reinforces the belief that those working within the Kremlin are lunatics.  At minimum, there is a need for remedial tutoring in history.

Legitimate for President Putin and Team Putin to make a list and share it pointing to the constitution of Ukraine and to laws, polices, and regulations in Ukraine deemed by the government of the Russian Federation to be “anti-Russian” and discriminatory; and which they want changed, removed, or revised prior to executing a co-existence agreement by the government of the Russian Federation with the government of Ukraine.

Using the terms “Nazi” and “neo-Nazi” may provide some within the Russian Federation with a warm and fuzzy feeling, a boost of adrenaline, an extra performative linguistic swagger.  The words are pejorative and only result in further distance between those speaking the words and those hearing the words.

From a messaging perspective and public relations perspective, the government of the Russian Federation should ditch use of “Nazi” and “neo-Nazi” when speaking publicly- and privately too, and when engaging with negotiators about the interests of the government of the Russian Federation and how to end the military component of the Russian Federation-Ukraine War.

  • On 24 February 2022, the armed forces of the Russian Federation invaded and further invaded the territory of Ukraine in what President Putin defined first as a Special Military Operation (SMO) and on 22 December 2022 defined as a war.  The initial invasion of Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation was in part from the territory of Belarus.

  • The war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine did not commence on 24 February 2022.  The roots began their trajectories on 20 February 2014 when the armed forces of the Russian Federation invaded the Crimean Peninsula and the area known as the Donbas Region (Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast).
