Maybe The State Of Israel Will Propose Sending The 2.3 Million Inhabitants Of Gaza By Boat To Büyükada Island

This is an opportunity for Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkiye (2014-2028), and Emine Erdogan, First Lady of Turkiye, to pivot their oratory skills directed at Gaza, State of Israel, Palestine, and Palestinians.

The timing is opportune as the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City commences in September 2025 which provides a forum annually for the 193-members (heads of state, heads of government, minister of foreign affairs, and first ladies) to use their moments at the lectern and during Bilaterals and side events to advance their interests.

At the UNGA, President Erdogan and Mrs. Erdogan might consider using their time at the bully pulpits in New York City and in advance of their visit to welcome the State of Israel into a courtroom.

Within the last weeks, there were moments which should have sobered-up heads of state and heads of government, particularly those leading Muslim-majority countries, who are considering deploying the resources of their taxpayers to fund the reconstruction of Gaza and/or, if the State of Israel has its way, provide one-way tickets (air, land, or sea) out of Gaza for the approximately 2.3 million inhabitants in Gaza.

First, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the State of Israel (2022- , 2009-2021, 1996-1999), engaged in a nauseating display of sycophantism.  During a working dinner at The White House, he dramatically presented to Donald Trump, President of the United States (2017-2021 and 2025-2029), his letter nominating President Trump for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize

  • That award to President Trump in 2025 has approximately the same betting odds as Air Force One, the current one or one of the two or three new ones, arriving at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) to deliver President Trump on a state visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

  • The Norwegian Nobel Committee is unlikely to look favorably upon a nominee whose country aided (weapons) and guidance (intelligence) for the State of Israel to conduct a war in Gaza during which the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have killed (approximately 56,700) and injured (approximately 130,000) inhabitants in Gaza.

  • The Norwegian Nobel Committee received 286 candidates for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize.  Eighty-nine of these were organisations.

Second, President Trump referenced the word “shylock” when speaking about banking- financing, interest rates, and lending.  The word is from William Shakespeare’s (1564-1616) character in The Merchant of Venice.

  • He professed afterward to have no knowledge and feign shock (as did Captain Louis Renault in the 1942-released motion picture Casablanca, upon discovering gambling at a casino- and then accepting his winnings from a previous encounter) that the word “shylock” defines a person of Jewish faith with a pronounced nose who requires exorbitant interest rates on loans.  While most people of the Jewish faith find the comparison offensive, some may embrace it as a status symbol of success.  A blind person could see through the untruthfulness of President Trump’s denials as he is someone who cares greatly about choosing words which best reflect his desired message- offensive or not, and reflect his approximately sixty years in New York City banking, finance, and real estate- sectors with many prominent people of the Jewish faith with whom he competed, needed, and worked with to create and sustain his businesses.  He demonstrates again how he perceives people of the Jewish faith- hire them as accountants, attorneys, and bankers.

Third, prior to his departure to Washington DC, Prime Minister Netanyahu declared three missions: “The release and return of all the hostages, the living and the fallen; the destruction of Hamas's capabilities - to kick it out of there, and to ensure that Gaza will no longer constitute a threat to IsraelThere are 20 hostages that are alive, 30 dead.  I am determined, we are determined, to bring them all back.  And we will also be determined to ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel.” Bold emphasis added

For the State of Israel, the only means to eliminate, not reduce, but exterminate all threats by inhabitants of Gaza to the State of Israel is for Gaza to solely be inhabited citizens of the State of Israel- those approved, vetted, subjected to brit milah.  Even one Palestinian inhabiting Gaza could be construed by the State of Israel as a threat or potential threat.  Thus, no Muslims no problem.

  • During a working dinner at The White House, Prime Minister Netanyahu clarified- for those who have been in denial, that there will be no two-state solution.  There is one state (Israel) and one appendix which is wholly dependent: “So people aren’t likely to say, let’s just give them another state and the platform to destroy Isreal.  We’ll work out a peace with our Palestinian neighbors- those who don’t want to destroy us.  We’ll work out a peace in which our security- the sovereign power security- always remains in our hands.  While people will say it’s not a complete state, it’s not a state, it’s not that.  We don’t care.  You know.  We vowed never again.  Never again is now.  It’s not going to happen again.”

This is a circuitous route to the issue of Gaza and, specifically, how to bring practical assistance to the 2.3 million inhabitants of an increasingly shrinking amount of real estate.

There is one word that the State of Israel, the taxpayers within the State of Israel, the business executives within the State of Israel, and President Trump will respond toLawsuits

  • If there is one legal construct most familiar to President Trump, it is the usefulness and effectiveness of lawsuits.  In his private sector career, he used both the threat of a lawsuit and the filing of a lawsuit as a weapon to achieve the desired outcome.  In his public sector career, he has deployed the same tactics- only this time with United States taxpayer-funded attorneys at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ).

An increasing number of heads of state, heads of government, and organizations, maintain some of the decisions or all of the decisions by the State of Israel and implemented by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during the last twenty-one-plus months have violated international humanitarian standards, international laws, international norms, international treaties, were war crimes, and are contrary to words contained within the texts- Bible, Koran, and Torah.  Ironically, the texts of which some heads of state and heads of government swear their inaugural oaths to protect and defend.

There are government-initiated lawsuits (by the government of the Republic of South Africa, for example, which is supported by other governments, including the Republic of Turkiye) against the State of Isreal which are before the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague, Netherlands.  However, that judicial process could take years and even if a verdict against the State of Israel, there is no expectation that the State of Israel would comply with a verdict it does not like.  To be accurate, governments rarely comply with judicial findings they oppose.

5/19/25- Gaza: Planning For Largest Eminent Domain Lawsuit In History. Amicus Curiae From U.S. Ambassador To Israel? Netanyahu: Gaza Residents Not Hungry, Just Fasting, Like At A Spa. Erdogan’s Lonely Journey

  • I have concepts for Gaza that I think are very good, make it a freedom zone, let the United States get involved and make it just a freedom zone.”  Donald Trump

  • We've had great co-operation from... surrounding countries, great cooperation from every single one of them.  So, something good will happen.” Donald Trump

In March 2023, the government of Egypt proposed an approximately US$53 billion reconstruction program for Gaza which would be funded primarily by Arab League member countries as an alternative to the Cleansification of Palestinians from Gaza Program proposed by President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu.

  • Arab League members: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordon, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestinian Authority, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

The State of Israel too has a plan for Gaza.  They have proposed many where each has a common theme- fewer Palestinians, fewer problems.  No Palestinians, no problems.   And those plans are supported by the Trump-Vance Administration (2025-2029).

  • We are destroying more and more homes, they have nowhere to return to.  The only inevitable outcome will be the desire of Gazans to emigrate outside of the Gaza Strip.” Benjamin Netanyahu

  • I think President Trump is bringing a vision.  It's called free choice.  You know, if people want to stay, they can stay, but if they want to leave, they should be able to leave.  It shouldn't [be a] a prison.  It should be open place and give people a free choice.  We're working with the United States very closely about finding countries that will seek to realize what they always say they wanted - to give the Palestinians a better future.  And those who, and I think we're getting close to finding several countries.  And I think this will give again the freedom to choose.  Palestinians should have it, and I hope that we can secure it.”  Benjamin Netanyahu

  • And the fourth, it would be reconstruction, which would be largely taken, I think, by the international community.”  Benjamin Netanyahu

  • “[T]he reconstruction plans will be carried out with the financing and leadership of countries acceptable to Israel.”  Government of the State of Israel

The foundation for the plan by the State of Israel is, regardless of statements suggesting they may remain, is to remove all 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza, remove remaining remnants of its infrastructure, construct a “new” Gaza complete with roads, high-rise residences, high-end retail, golf clubs, services, yacht clubs, airport (with a 10,000-foot runway capable of handling a certain Boeing 747-800 aircraft?), highspeed trains, and particularly hotels with internationally-renowned hotel brand names.  One possibility? From New York, New York-based The Trump Organization which has nearby hotels in Oman and United Arab Emirates; and is developing golf, hotel, and residential properties in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

The State of Israel expects countries to pay to reconstruct Gaza and expects countries to use Israel-based construction companies.  There will be two arguments.

  • First, there will be a management security threat if construction companies from outside of the State of Israel use workers from outside of the State of Israel, meaning surviving the vetting process.

  • Second, there will be an unmanageable inspection requirement for materials to enter Gaza from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkiye, or from other countries.  The State of Israel will deny authorization for the reconstruction of permanent commercial ports to facilitate the arrival of construction materials using security issues as an excuse.  The goal of the State of Israel is simple:  For Israel-based companies and taxpayers to profit from the destruction of Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).  A stomach-churning irony

Important to note that there has been no mention by President Trump or Prime Minister Netanyahu that the workers required to construct the “new” Gaza and maintain the “new” Gaza would be current residents of Gaza.

Unspoken is they would be citizens of the State of Israel or citizens of other “friendly” countries.  The employment application might resemble this: non-Muslim, light complexion, attractive, not related to a terrorist or potential terrorist, educated at a “good” school, fluency in Hebrew, and not from “shithole” countries as President Trump reportedly defined them in 2018.

Thus far, President Trump and to some extent the State of Israel believe the combination of forced and voluntary departures from Gaza should be viewed as a reward, a new start, a rebirth, rejuvenation, rather than a 21st Century version of extermination and genocide by eminent domain

  • Eminent domain refers to the power of the government to take private property and convert it into public use, referred to as a taking.  The Fifth Amendment in the United States Constitution provides that the government may only exercise this power if they provide just compensation to the property owners.”

Donald Trump, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the New York, New York-based The Trump Organization, advocated for the use of eminent domain for the benefit of private companies.  In 1998, The Trump Organization sought to have property in Atlantic City, New Jersey, available for additional landscaping and parking, including an area for guest limousines.

  • I happen to agree with it 100%. if you have a person living in an area that’s not even necessarily a good area, and … government wants to build a tremendous economic development, where a lot of people are going to be put to work and … create thousands upon thousands of jobs and beautification and lots of other things, I think it happens to be good.”  Donald Trump

  • Cities have the right to condemn for the good of the city.  Everybody coming into Atlantic City sees this terrible house instead of staring at beautiful fountains and beautiful other things that would be good.”  Donald Trump

The use of eminent domain by the State of Israel to confiscate throughout the internationally-recognized territory of Gaza all commercial, properties, all residential properties, all farmland, and all vacant land from organizations, commercial entities, and individuals, as well as properties owned by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) would be the largest and potentially most legally fraught use of eminent domain in history.

This likely outcome creates an opportunity for Muslim-led governments to retain attorneys within their respective countries to work with State of Israel-based attorneys to craft civil lawsuits on behalf of individual inhabitants of Gaza.

State of Israel courts and prosecutors will likely not permit criminal indictments, so best remedy will be civil lawsuits.  Seeking compensatory, general, and punitive damages

The focus would be to identify compelling and easily provable cases where documents are available, testimony is accessible, and the cases are easily understood by the public- particularly the public outside of the State of Israel.  For example, someone whose farmland land was seized by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).  A home destroyed by the IDF.  A business forced to close.  A claim relating to the death of an inhabitant of Gaza will be the most challenging because a requirement will be to place a value on the earning potential of the victim, the value of emotional loss to the family, and the nature of the recklessness by the IDF which led to the death.  The goal is to seek reasonable compensation so that rejection by courts in the State of Israel will be viewed globally as lacking in validity.

  • First, file a lawsuit on behalf of boy in Gaza who contracted polio due to delay in receiving vaccine.  See below

  • Second, file lawsuits for the destruction and taking of land, personal property, and structures.

  • Third, file lawsuits for personal injuries and for death benefits.

The Trump-Vance Administration (2025-2029) already has an individual who would likely file a divinely-inspired Amicus Curiae (friend-of-the-court) brief with any relevant judicial court supporting not only claims of eminent domain by the State of Israel, but also to support the position by the State of Israel that residents of Gaza, Palestinians, do not have standing as plaintiffs and thus have no place within legal proceedings.  They may have been harmed, but as individuals or group (class), they do not exist.

  • There’s really no such thing as a Palestinian.”  Mike Huckabee, United States Ambassador to the State of Israel

Given the perverse creativity of officials within the State of Israel, perhaps reasonable to expect soon a proposal to relocate (with of course someone else’s taxpayers paying for it) the 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza to Büyükada Island (“Big Island” in Turkish) which is the largest of the Princes’ Islands in the Sea of Marmara, near the city of Istanbul.

Büyükada Island is 2.1 square miles- 2.6 miles long and .8 miles wide.  Gaza is 141 square miles- 25 miles long and 6 miles wide.

Ironically, hundreds of thousands of people of the Jewish faith resided on the island during the Ottoman period (1285-1923).

Gaza Background: “After the 1948 creation of the State of Israel, many Palestinian refugees ended up in Gaza, where they and their descendants make up three-quarters of the population.  Another 900,000 registered refugees live in the occupied West Bank, while 3.4 million others live in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, according to the UN.  The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross-border attack on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage.  More than 57,500 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.  Most of Gaza's population has also been displaced multiple times.  More than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed; the healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed; and there are shortages of food, fuel, medicine and shelter.  Israel's defence minister says he has instructed its military to prepare a plan to move all Palestinians in Gaza into a camp in the south of the territory, Israeli media reports say.  Israel Katz told journalists on Monday he wanted to establish a “humanitarian city” on the ruins of the city of Rafah to initially house about 600,000 Palestinians - and eventually the whole 2.1 [2.3] million population.”
